The G.M.B. and Apollo worked together on this contract enhancing the benefits that our temporary staff received for dedicated service. This arrangement not only provided Apollo with reliable staff but helped the client as well.

Case Study Two

In 2000 Apollo together with the G.M.B. assisted a Derbyshire company that were going through receivership. The company had full order books and needed their customers orders fulfilled. There was no way a contract length could be given to Apollo. It was also difficult to estimate the numbers required. The contract was on an 'as and when needed' basis. Apollo interviewed locally, explaining to the applicants the importance of reliability and that they could give no guarantees as to the length of the contract, only that they would pass on any information as it was received. The company successfully recruited people on this basis and customers' orders are being fulfilled.

Case Study One

One of Apollo's first clients was associated with the local steel industry and required staff in large numbers for plant operating, burning and welding.
Apollo advertised, interviewed and reference checked all applicants, and all the persons selected then went through a medical and induction programmes both off and on site.
The client has many divisions all over the U.K. and the relationship allowed Apollo the opportunity to work in other areas —
for example in 1999, a problem arose whereby the client had to remove some equipment and replace it in a very short period of time.
This required an additional 20 people for a short period of time to add to the 50 that were already on contract to them.
Speed and reliability were of the essence, and Apollo discussed the requirements with the client directly. We provided a total solution to their problem offering a quality service.
